Chapter 1, The New Toy
The old man paced back and forth in front of the coffin for quite some time, suddenly his expression changed—could it be that he was not being driven by magic?
As the new moon gradually rose, the zombie unexpectedly lifted the coffin lid by itself and stood upright from the coffin. Its movements were extremely swift; Qiao'er didn't even catch a glimpse of its actions. When she focused her gaze, it was already standing at the cave entrance, directly absorbing the moonlight
Qiao'er could not see it clearly, fearing that it would pull out her tongue. She was tense all over, not daring to move at all
The attention of the two Taoists was clearly focused on the zombie in the coffin
The creature has captured a person, yet it does not feed on human blood
This old master is known as the Chongling Daoist in this establishment. He has raised five corpses in the back mountain: two white corpses, one black corpse, and one jumping corpse, all of which can be controlled through spells. However, this particular corpse remains unresponsive to any incantations.
The old master waved his hand, signaling his disciple to leave: "Usually, I ask you to study diligently, yet your heart is all devoted to a dog? This is a waste of talent."
When Qiao Er woke up, everything before her was pitch black, and she could only see a pair of eyes above her, glowing with a greenish light like a wolf, just a foot away from her
The zombie no longer pays her any mind, instead drawing in and expelling the moonlight from the cave entrance
Ha, not wanting to bite her yet holding this woman so tightly, could it be that zombies also enjoy this?
Unable to exit the cave, Qiao'er was truly in a state of panic. Without regard for her surroundings, she hurriedly searched for a corner within the cave, squatted down, quickly unfastened her belt, and proceeded to relieve herself.
His fingers probed deep into her throat, withdrawing just as she began to gag. Qiao'er and the librarian reached out and felt him over; he was indeed shaped like a man, and his stature was exceptionally tall, but his entire body was as hard as iron and stone, feeling like a cast-iron dummy.
Her hand groped over the face of the creature before her, and she could vaguely discern that it was a man's face; however, the texture beneath her fingers was cold and hard, devoid of any semblance of life.
The fingertip glided across the man's lips, touching a cold fang. The pad of the finger rubbed against the tip of the fang twice, confirming that the tip was indeed very sharp
The object in the coffin remained completely still, lying face down. Qiao'er could not see its face, only the clothing on its body, which had long since deteriorated into fragments, making it impossible to discern its original appearance
Qiao'er wanted to ask who it was, and as soon as she opened her mouth, she discovered that the area above her chin could actually be opened. Thus, it smoothly pried her mouth open, and its long index finger slid over her gums, carrying a faintly fishy taste. Qiao'er tried to push it away with her hand, but she couldn't move it at all.
Master, shall we hold a ritual tonight to give it a try? Perhaps if we send it a woman, it will be willing to be controlled!" The little Taoist lewdly scrutinized Qiao.
In the moonlight, she could see clearly the exposed fangs of the zombie, fierce and menacing
Helplessly, the zombie clearly could not understand, let alone comprehend what "urgent need" meant. It firmly restrained her, not allowing her to move. Qiao Er endured for a while longer, her face flushed and her neck thickening, and finally could not bear it any longer: "Let me go!" hetushu .com .com
From this angle, she could see his almost bare back and buttocks. Having previously heard them refer to this thing as a zombie, she now felt a sense of fear, and in a panic, she moved a little closer to the edge of the coffin, wanting to distance herself from him.
It touched each of her teeth one by one, seemingly finding the tongue amusing, and reached out to play with her tongue
She reached out to touch, not because she was bold—when she was a child, a high fever damaged her brain. It wouldn't be accurate to say she was very foolish, but her reactions were a beat or two slower than those of normal people
It seems that the Taoist speaks quite well; this is indeed a place of picturesque mountains and clear waters
Qiao Er then saw clearly that the two people in front of her were dressed in Daoist attire, yet there was none of the leisurely peace characteristic of Daoists in their expressions. The slightly older Daoist had a hint of gloom in his eyes: "Zombies only consume human blood when the spiritual energy of heaven and earth is insufficient. Nowadays, this place is rich in mountain spirits and clear waters, so it naturally does not need to feed on blood to survive"
What do you understand ... ...
After several failed attempts at performing rituals, the Daoist Chongling felt a sense of anger and began to consider whether the spiritual energy was insufficient. Therefore, he ordered someone to descend the mountain to capture a virgin to nourish.
She whispered
However, this coffin is indeed narrow, and she cannot avoid him by much distance
The old priest merely pondered; this place was originally a Taoist temple, but later it was occupied by some unscrupulous practitioners. Consequently, throughout the generations, they have raised zombies, often using them to disturb the villagers.
As the two individuals gradually moved away, Qiao'er sat in front of the coffin and pondered for a moment, feeling that she should indeed escape
She was startled, but fortunately the coffin lid was not completely closed. The zombie inside only bared its teeth at her and let out a menacing growl. She was still pinned down beneath it, and after a while, she could no longer hold back and gently pushed it: "Hey... you... could you let me go first, I..."
Qiao'er finally emerged from the coffin and hurried towards the cave entrance, as she was in urgent need of a restroom. Unexpectedly, just as she reached the cave entrance, the zombie seized her with a firm grip
The little Taoist named Xiao Si went down to prepare, while the old Taoist coldly looked at Qiao Er: "If you dare to step out of the coffin even a single step, I will let your blood feed it!"
As soon as the sound emerged, the humanoid figures around her paused in their movements, their attention once again drawn to her mouth, which was pried open once more, and fingers were inserted to examine it for a while.
Her reaction is somewhat slow, even her fright comes a little late; fortunately, it is so, otherwise she would have probably had to consider changing her pants on the spot
Qiao'er shivered slightly, and only then did she realize that this was a cave. Outside, it was clearly the time of sunset, with sunlight slanting into the cave entrance. Occasionally, the sound of a mountain spring could be heard, clear and melodious.
The public, filled with fear, naturally ascended the mountain to invite the Taoist priests to exorcise demons and quell monsters. Thus, although this place is remote, the incense offerings in the temple are exceedingly prosperous, and the business is very thriving
Qiao Er desperately pushed away the humanoid objects on her body, using both her hands and feet to crawl out of the coffin, but was soon caught by the two people outside the coffin
When Qiao'er felt as if she was about to be crushed, the coffin lid was opened. Two individuals who were prepared to pull her out were startled when they saw her eyes wide open: "Master, this woman is still alive!"
She climbed up, just about to flip the coffin open, when suddenly her ankle seemed to be gripped by an iron claw, and a great force pulled her back into the coffin, the lid closing over her without warning
Qiao Er retracted her hand, and only then did she remember many questions, the foremost of which was—where was she? Who was this man?
Who are you? How did I end up here? Qiao Er felt somewhat frightened, yet it seemed that it did not understand her words; it merely bent down and rested its head in the crook of her neck
She was struggling desperately, while the dusk outside had already deepened
Having finished speaking, he raised his head and scrutinized Qiao'er from top to bottom: "Very well, since she likes it, let us keep her as well. This will prevent the girl from gossiping after being let out. Xiao Si," he pulled Qiao'er back and tossed her into the coffin again, instructing his apprentice, "Go fetch some drinking water and dry rations to prepare for her here."
However, this "humanoid object" was filled with curiosity about her, playfully tugging at her head, sometimes to the left and sometimes to the right, having a great time.
Qiao'er did not dare to move again, and thus made no other movements, quietly lying on her, seemingly asleep
Even though she knew that what lay before her was merely a zombie, she still blushed and said in a voice as faint as a mosquito's: "I urgently need to go."
Master, this zombie actually did not suck her blood. Could it be that there are vegetarians among zombies?
He instructed the young Taoist to bring talisman paper and cinnabar, and wrote several large characters on it, placing it in front of the coffin. The young Taoist was somewhat puzzled and asked, "Master, what is this?"
Having grown tired of the book, he withdrew his fingers, disregarding the saliva on top, and began to explore on Qiao'er. Qiao'er felt a bit frightened and after a long while mustered the courage to ask: "Who are you?"
She has not yet come to a clear understanding, as those two tusks, measuring about an inch in length, gradually retracted. The man slowly leaned over her, their skin touching inch by inch, which alleviated some of the heat in the stifling coffin.
What do you understand! The old master said coldly: "Zombies are of a yin nature, and the unbroken virgin body is heavy with yin energy, so it naturally prefers that."
The humanoid figure seemed quite displeased with being disturbed, baring its teeth and letting out a low growl, exuding a somewhat beastly intimidation. Qiao'er felt hesitant to provoke it further; the darkness instilled fear and unease in her, making her much less bold: "You are pressing down on me..."
The little Taoist named Xiao Si brought in some porridge and steamed buns, and she nervously accepted a bowl of porridge. She had been asleep for an unknown duration, and naturally, she was hungry. Therefore, despite her fear at that moment, she still ate two steamed buns with the porridge
The humanoid creature lowered its head and lay on her, its chilling fangs occasionally brushing against her neck, before slowly retracting.
"Mourning text? Words written for the dead? Hehe, Master, you are still the best. I have never heard of raising a zombie and writing words for it to see!"
Qiao Er's mind was still diligently analyzing and processing the beginning and end of the situation, as she widened her eyes in an effort to see clearly the shape of the humanoid figure before her, but the light was simply too dim
Qiao Er pushed him with her hand—he was truly too heavy: "Get up, who on earth are you?"
